Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care.

Responsibilities

- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
- Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy




- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe setting
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and billing when necessary

Skills

- Proficiency in Abeldent or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Experience with dental assisting techniques is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
