Girgis Dental Care - Ottawa, ON

Girgis Dental Care is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our caring, tight knit dental team. The dental practice enjoys a very low turnover of both staff and patients. The office is non-corporate, so no quotas and no need to sell dentistry. Treatment is based solely on what is best for the patient. A healthy work-life balance for all staff is encouraged.

As the office is located on the second floor of the Kilborn Medical Centre, 1385 Bank Street, it has very little street presence. New patients find us by word of mouth or Google reviews. Each of the three ops have large windows so there is lots of natural light.

The hours are Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm with the possibility of additional days and hours.

Hourly wages are based on years of experience.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, radiographs,



periodontal charting, and instrument sterilization for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.

Qualifications
- Valid College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) licence.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build a rapport and longterm relationships with patients.
- Bilingual skills are an asset, but not required.
- New graduates welcome!
