Must be available all Saturday & Sundays - for 6-8 hour days.

Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures by providing support during braces adjustments or other orthodontic treatments.
- Manage patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software to ensure accurate documentation.




- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication to foster positive dental experiences.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to coordinate treatment plans and ensure smooth clinic operations.

Experience

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Prior experience working in a busy dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology enhances your ability to serve diverse patient needs.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued for communicating effectively with a broader patient demographic.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach that puts patients at ease.
- Previous experience in dental assisting or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
