Seeking a Registered Dietitian for a 12-month contract role in our Food and Nutrition Services Department. Provide nutritional assessments and develop therapeutic diets for residents in need. In this role, you will assist the Manager to ensure the effective functioning of the department.

You will be responsible for approving menus, planning diets, and monitoring resident satisfaction with the services provided. Your expertise in geriatric nutrition care will play a crucial role in meeting specialized dietary needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Approve menus and develop recipes as needed
- Complete nutritional assessments for residents at risk
- Plan and monitor therapeutic diets and feeding strategies
- Maintain detailed records of nutritional reviews
- Support compliance with kitchen management legislation Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Dietitians
- Understanding of long-term care nutrition standards
- Knowledge of food service methods for large-scale preparation
- Effective staff supervision skills
