Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE) – Immediate Start

We’re looking for a mature and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our warm and supportive team! If you are passionate about working with children and creating meaningful learning experiences, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

- Plan, implement, and reflect on educational and developmental activities for children.
- Provide nurturing care and close supervision to ensure every child’s safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging play-based learning.
- Collaborate with co-educators to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Observe, document, and report on children’s development and behavior.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents about their child’s progress and daily activities.

Requirements

- Completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).




- Experience not required – we’re happy to mentor the right candidate!
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting is an asset.
- Robust knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Positive, engaging, and child-centered approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Qualifications (Required or must be willing to obtain)

- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
- Updated Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
- Up-to-date Immunizations
