We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will collaborate with the physio and chiro to create a calming environment and tailor each session to meet the individual needs of your clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess clients' needs and customize treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their preferences and any areas of concern.
- Keep accurate records of client sessions and progress.
- Collaborate with the Physiotherapist.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
- Valid Massage Therapist license.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A commitment to ongoing career development and learning new techniques is highly valued.
