Join Our Growing Massage & Wellness Team The Lakeshore Spa is looking for a skilled, reliable and client-focused Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing team in Chestermere.

We are looking for an RMT who enjoys providing both therapeutic and relaxation treatments, takes pride in building strong relationships with clients, and is interested in developing a consistent clientele within an established spa.

We currently have a particular need for weekday daytime and evening availability.

Experienced RMTs are encouraged to apply, and we also welcome applications from strong new graduates who demonstrate excellent hands-on skills, professionalism and a genuine commitment to client care.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments
- Assess clients' concerns and develop individualized treatment plans
- Modify treatments according to client needs, contraindications and treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment records
- Provide appropriate home-care recommendations when indicated
- Maintain professional treatment-room standards between appointments
- Follow applicable professional, safety and infection-control standards
- Deliver excellent client care and contribute to a positive spa experience
- Build professional relationships that encourage appropriate follow-up care and client retention

Qualifications

- Minimum 2,200-hour Massage Therapy diploma




- Active membership in good standing with a recognized Alberta massage therapy association
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, contraindications and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid therapeutic and/or relaxation massage skills
- Professional, reliable and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the spa team
- Commitment to excellent client care and professional standards

Additional Training Is an Asset

Additional education or experience in any of the following is welcomed:

- Therapeutic / Deep Tissue Massage
- Relaxation / Swedish Massage
- Pre/Post-natal Massage
- Cupping Therapy
- Hot Stone Massage
- Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- Myofascial techniques
- Sports Massage
- Other recognized therapeutic or spa-related modalities
