12-18 month Contract Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Location: Cambridge , Ontario

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team on a temporary contract basis while one of our nurses is away.

Location: Cambridge, Ontario

Start Date: November 1

End Date: TBD

Hours: 32 hours per week including day/evening

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and support to patients of all ages in a family medical centre setting

Assist physicians with patient care and procedures

Excellent organization and time-management skills

Administer vaccinations and injections as required

Perform routine nursing assessments and follow-ups

Provide patient education and support

Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in PS suites EMR

Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies

Follow infection prevention and control procedures

Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, nurses, and administrative staff





- Perform other nursing duties as required within scope of practice

Qualifications

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

Current CPR/First Aid/BLS certification

Clear vulnerable sector police check required

Previous family practice or primary care experience is an asset

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, qualified, and patient-focused

Comfortable working in a busy medical office environment

Strong computer and electronic medical record (EMR) skills

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy requirements
