We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with our rehabilitation professionals to provide support and assistance to patients during their recovery process. Duties

- Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of rehabilitation professionals
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
- Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes to the rehabilitation team
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
- Provide support during therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and assisting with documentation

Skills

- Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desired




- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation procedures
- Knowledge of the long term care settings and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Ability to commute/relocate

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience

- Rehabilitation care assistance: 1 year (preferred)
