We are seeking a relief (temporary) full-time Rehabilitation Assistant at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. This position is expected to run until the return of the current incumbent and supports the Speech-Language Pathology team.

Days of work: Monday to Friday

Shift times: 08:30 to 16:30

About the role:

Under the clinical direction of the skilled practice lead of the speech-language pathology department or designate, responsibilities include carrying out swallowing, speech/language and communication therapy activities, material prep and ordering within the speech-language pathology department.

Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client.

Assistant may carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Class 5 Vehicle License if applicable.
