Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Steel Shop Foreman to lead our manufacturing team in the fabrication of structural steel components. This role involves overseeing daily shop floor activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving process improvements. this position will also involve fabricating if needed. Must have 5 years of welding experience.

Duties
Supervise daily operations within the steel fabrication shop, coordinating assembly and welding activities to meet production schedules.
Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.




assist in welding and fabrication.
Manage supply chain logistics by monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with procurement, and material planning.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout fabrication processes through regular inspections and adherence to specifications.
Facilitate continuous improvement efforts by identifying prospects for efficiency gains, and promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
Oversee the training and development of shop personnel in areas such as assembly techniques, safety procedures, and technical skills related to structural steel fabrication.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of fabricated components aligned with project requirements.Experience

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
