Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of fire extinguishers to verify proper operation, pressure levels, and compliance with safety regulations
Service, recharge, and refill fire extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Identify system deficiencies or damages during inspections and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Assist with the installation and system design of fire suppression equipment in new or existing facilities
Perform construction inspections related to fire safety systems during building projects to ensure code adherence
Maintain detailed records of all inspections, maintenance activities, and system modifications in compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with clients and team members to develop tailored fire safety solutions that meet specific building needs
Qualifications
Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction processes is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of system design principles for fire suppression equipment
Experience with construction inspection processes related to fire safety systems is preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions precisely
Valid certification or licensing relevant to fire extinguisher servicing (if applicable)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Positive communication skills to explain technical information clearly
