Local Lawns Construction Landscaping is based in Chestermere and builds yards across Calgary, Chestermere, Airdrie, Okotoks, Strathmore, Langdon, Cochrane and Rocky View County.

We tear out and replace lawns, lay current sod, grade yards, put in French drains, and build rock and mulch beds, fences, paver patios and retaining walls. We own our equipment: a Bobcat MT100 track loader, a dump trailer and an enclosed trailer. We do every job ourselves, from removal to cleanup, with no subcontractors. WCB covered and liability insured.

Start: right away. Work runs through the fall until the ground freezes, planned for early November, weather permitting.

Pay: $22–$28/hr to start, depending on experience. Hourly, on payroll (T4).

Hours: full days, and some Saturdays.

Where: job sites across Calgary and Chestermere. Depending on the day, we meet at the site or at our yard in Chestermere.

Trial: your first day is a paid trial day at your starting rate.

What you'll do
Strip old lawns, dig, grade and spread topsoil alongside the loader
Lay sod, rock, mulch, edging and landscape fabric
Dig and backfill drainage trenches
Help build fences,



paver paths and patios
Load and unload the dump trailer, and keep the tools in order
Leave every site clean

What we're looking for
You can do hard outdoor work all day, in Calgary weather
You show up on time, every day
Your own way to the site is preferred. No vehicle? That can work if you can get to a pickup point.
Landscaping, construction, farm or trades experience is a plus, and skid steer or loader experience is a bigger one
