Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Program Leader to inspire and engage children through a variety of educational and recreational activities. In this role, you will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating setting where children can learn, grow, and have fun after school hours. Your leadership will foster positive development, encourage creativity, and support academic success while building robust relationships with students, parents, and community partners. This paid position offers an exciting chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities
Pick up students from nearby schools at 3:00 p.m. and safely escort them to the after-school program.
Provide snacks and academic support in Math and English, including homework assistance and reinforcement of classroom learning.
Plan and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, educational games, puzzles, and group activities to encourage creativity and social development.
Maintain a positive, supportive, and welcoming workplace that promotes teamwork, respect, confidence,



and responsible behaviour.
Supervise children during all program activities, ensure their safety, maintain attendance records, and communicate with parents regarding participation and progress.

Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly preferred.
Strong background in tutoring or teaching young learners in early childhood education or elementary grades.
Demonstrated ability to lead group activities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for creating inclusive environments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
