Connected HQ is looking for an experienced technician to lead installations of smart home automation, security systems, cameras, and networking equipment in residential and commercial properties.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean installations, solves problems confidently, and communicates professionally with customers.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home automation, alarm systems, security cameras, and recording systems.
Install and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
Run and terminate low-voltage cabling, organize equipment racks, and label connections.
Integrate smart lighting, audio/video, door locks, and access control.
Lead installations and support junior technicians.
Document installations, test systems, and show customers how to use their equipment.

What we’re looking for
Proven experience installing and troubleshooting security, automation, or related low-voltage systems.
Solid understanding of IP networking and camera systems.




Ability to work independently and manage installations from start to finish.
Experience with camera systems, smart lighting, home automation, alarm systems, networking, and audio/video systems is an asset.
Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites.
Comfortable working on ladders, running cable, and handling installation equipment.
Reliable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship.
