Join our vibrant team as an After School Program Leader and become a vital part of creating a safe, engaging, and enriching workplace for children after school hours. In this role, you will lead dynamic activities, provide academic support, and foster a positive atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and social growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire children to explore new interests while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the afternoon program.

Responsibilities
Plan and facilitate a variety of educational, recreational, and creative activities tailored to children’s interests and developmental levels
Maintain a secure environment by supervising children closely and enforcing program rules. Adhering to Community Care Facilities Licensing rules and regulations.
Build solid relationships with children, parents, and school staff to promote open communication and collaboration
Monitor attendance, document daily activities, and report any concerns or incidents promptly




Assist in setting up program spaces and ensuring all materials are organized and accessible for activities
Support early childhood education principles by fostering inclusive participation and encouraging positive social interactions

Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead engaging tutoring or teaching sessions for diverse age groups
Knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development principles
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism
Responsible Adult Certificate needed
