Assured Group is an interior design and renovation company specializing in transforming interior spaces for both residential and commercial properties. We are expanding our operations to Ottawa and are looking for a talented and creative Interior Decorator to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping bring our clients’ visions to life through thoughtful design, material selections, and detailed design packages. We are looking for an Interior Decorator to design floor plans, interior finishes, kitchen and other millwork. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting customers with selection of materials, creating colour boards, design packages and helping our clients build their dream home.

Primary Role

Interior Design Technologies/Interior Decorator

Responsibilities:

· Meet with Clients for Initial Design Consultations and Perform site visits

· Robust time management skills

· Productive design presentation and consultation with great communication skills

· Superior organizational skills

· Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client

· Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction





· Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space

· Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships

· Follow up and close the deals according to the company policies and procedures

· Knowledge of computer design software

· Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation

· Be familiar with custom cabinetry design, construction & installation

· Have skilled demeanor when interacting with clients

· Understanding architectural drawing and floor plans

-Submit Drawings for permits

Required:

Revit knowledge (1 year minimum)

To be able to go onsite

Portfolio attached to application

Assets:

· Kitchen cabinetry design experience
