North Durham Taekwondo is looking for a Muay Thai and/or Kickboxing Instructor to join our team as soon as possible.

This is an evening program primarily for teens and adults. We are looking for someone with a robust Muay Thai, kickboxing, or related striking background who is comfortable leading classes in a positive and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do
Teach Muay Thai and/or kickboxing classes for teens and adults
Teach striking techniques, combinations, footwork, pad work, defence and conditioning
Work with students ranging from beginners to more experienced participants
Create protected, structured and engaging classes
Provide instruction, corrections and encouragement
Help us grow and develop the program

What We're Looking For
Experience in Muay Thai, kickboxing or a related striking discipline
Coaching or teaching experience is preferred




Comfortable working with teens and adults
Reliable, professional and able to lead a class
Positive communication and interpersonal skills
Competition experience is an asset, but not required
First Aid/CPR is an asset
Vulnerable Sector Check may be required

Availability

This is primarily an evening position. Hours will depend on the class schedule and program needs, with additional hours available as needed.

We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
