Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clerk and Laundry Tech to join our team. This position requires someone who can work well independently and with a small team. We are willing to train in all aspects of this position but prior experience especially in sewing is an asset and will result in increased compensation.

Duties
Manage laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms
Perform thorough cleaning duties across designated areas to uphold hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and cleaning materials, reordering as needed
Interact with customers, taking in and sending out cleaning orders,
Handle cash and Interact transactions
Sewing on coveralls and other general sewing tasks

Skills




Sewing skill are an asset but not required we are willing to train
knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques is an asset
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Valuable communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks effectively
A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and operational standards

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
