Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging workplace for young children, supporting their developmental needs through effective teaching and communication. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children with disabilities, in a collaborative and supportive setting. The RECE will play a vital role in fostering early childhood development and ensuring positive learning experiences.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Create a secure and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and classroom routines aligned with early childhood education standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities.
Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored strategies and accommodations.
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety policies.




Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.

Requirements
Valid registration as an RECE or equivalent credential in early childhood education.
Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, families, and team members.
Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
Ability to operate basic computer applications for documentation and communication tasks.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. This position is integral to providing high-quality early childhood education that supports each child's growth while fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
