Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a locally owned leader in Western Canada’s heavy haul industry, we pride ourselves on maintaining a contemporary fleet, a strong safety culture, and exceptional service standards. This position is ideal for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, troubleshooting complex issues, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent or repair required
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, trailers, and heavy haul equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, air brake, suspension, and engine systems




Repair and replace components including brakes, suspensions, wheel seals, lighting, and driveline systems
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Work collaboratively with drivers, dispatch, and shop personnel
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications
Experience working on heavy trucks and trailers
Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems and emissions systems Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $46.00-$56.00 per hour
