Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista(food and beverage) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working with POS systems, and adhering to food safety standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company recipes and standards
Prepare sandwiches, wraps and salads according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems efficiently, for order processing and cash handling
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide excellent customer service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service




Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all products served
Restock supplies as needed and assist with light food preparation when required
Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices

Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry is required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Solid customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Familiarity with POS systems, is advantageous
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using time management skills during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience in serving, food preparation, or food service roles is beneficial
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
