Nova Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join a busy distribution centre team in Halifax, NS. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a quick-paced warehouse environment, works well as part of a team, and has strong attention to detail.
Shift Details
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Part time hours with fluctuating schedules
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on operational needs
Job Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently pick, assemble, and prepare orders for shipment
Meet productivity and accuracy targets
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and workplace policies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members
Follow written instructions and complete tasks accurately
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED is preferred
Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required – full training provided
Pallet jack and forklift experience is an asset, but not required – full training provided
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse workplace
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Positive, self-motivated, and dependable
Strong communication skills
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Proven track record of reliability and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CSA-approved steel-toe footwear required
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
