Excelsior Architectural Products Ltd. is looking for an experienced Architectural Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Surrey, BC.

This is an architectural metal fabrication position — NOT HVAC/ductwork.

We are looking for someone who can take a drawing, measurement, sketch or sample and independently fabricate the required architectural metal piece accurately.

What You'll Be Fabricating
Custom architectural flashings and breakshapes
Parapet caps and cap flashings
Window and door flashings
Corners, closures, transitions and trims
Metal siding and cladding components
Metal soffit components
ACM/MCM panel components
Custom aluminum and sheet metal pieces

What You'll Be Doing
Read shop drawings, sketches and measurements
Lay out, measure, cut, bend and form sheet metal
Operate sheet metal brakes/benders and shears
Fabricate custom one-off pieces and production runs
Work with aluminum, prefinished steel and other architectural metals
Check finished pieces for dimensions, angles and quality
Minimize material waste
Work independently and maintain a clean, organized work area





What We're Looking For

Previous architectural sheet metal fabrication experience is strongly preferred.

You should:
Be experienced with sheet metal brakes/benders and shears
Understand bends, hems, offsets, returns, laps and common flashing details
Be able to fabricate from drawings, measurements or samples
Have solid measuring and basic math skills
Understand how architectural metal pieces fit together on a building
Be able to work accurately with minimal supervision
Take pride in producing clean, high-quality finished work

Experience with architectural cladding, ACM panels, metal siding, metal roofing, soffits or building-envelope systems is a solid asset.

Applicants with only HVAC/ductwork experience should clearly identify any architectural sheet metal fabrication experience they also have.

Pay: $20.00-$38.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
