Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our agile team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery including forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
Perform order picking, packing, and packaging to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely
Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems like AS400
Conduct heavy lifting tasks and organize stock in designated storage areas
Support construction or maintenance activities related to warehouse facilities as needed




Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall productivity

Skills
Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly AS400
Experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Knowledge of manufacturing or construction environments is a plus
Skilled in order picking, packaging, and load & unload procedures
Prior warehouse experience with a focus on safety standards and efficiency is preferred
