Job Summary
We’re a busy local bakery looking for a friendly and reliable weekday and weekend Front of House Customer Service / Barista to join our team. If you love working with people, making great coffee, and thrive in a fast-paced environment — we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide a warm, welcoming experience
Take food and drink orders, answer product questions, and handle payments (cash/card)
Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks (barista experience required)
Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house and coffee station
Help with restocking, cleaning and other tasks
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Must be available to work weekdays

Skills
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Barista experience an asset (must be comfortable using an espresso machine)




Robust cashiering skills with attention to detail in handling cash transactions.
Understanding of food safety regulations to maintain a clean and protected environment.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
