Connected HQ | Trenton & the Quinte Region

Interested in smart home technology, security systems, and hands-on work? Connected HQ is looking for a junior technician to help install smart home automation, alarms, security cameras, and networking systems.

This role is a outstanding prospect to develop practical skills while working alongside an experienced technician.

Responsibilities
Assist with smart home, alarm, camera, networking, and audio/video installations.
Run, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling.
Mount cameras, sensors, access points, and other equipment.
Help test systems and troubleshoot installation issues.
Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas organized.
Treat customers’ homes and businesses with care and maintain a clean job site.

What we’re looking for
An interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.




Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites.
Comfortable working on ladders, running cable, and handling installation equipment.
Previous experience in cabling, construction, electronics, or IT is an asset, but not required.
