Duties
Build trusting relationships with children and youth to promote their emotional and social development
Plan and implement engaging activities that support learning, creativity, and personal growth
Provide guidance and support during daily routines, helping children navigate challenges with confidence
Monitor behavior and intervene appropriately to ensure a safe workplace for all participants
Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to support each child's unique needs
Maintain accurate records of activities, progress notes, and incident reports




Assist in creating inclusive programs that celebrate diversity and promote positive social interactions

Experience
Prior experience working with children or youth in educational, recreational, or community settings is highly preferred
Robust communication skills to effectively connect with children, families, and team members
Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in dynamic situations
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for supporting young people
Certification in first aid and CPR, CPI, and VSC.

Pay: $24.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 35.0 per week
