Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are highly valued. The Server plays a critical role in providing an outstanding dining experience that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods




Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards
Basic Japanese cuisine knowledge

Skills
Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
Robust customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced setting with excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills
Familiarity with food industry standards, serving etiquette, and upselling techniques
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guests
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
