Responsibilities
Assist residents and clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Support patient care routines including medication administration, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe setting
Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia, disabilities, or those receiving hospice care
Help with heavy lifting and transferring patients safely using proper techniques and equipment
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns to nursing staff or supervisors promptly




Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations in compliance with facility policies
Assist with activities that promote social engagement and overall well-being

Skills
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
Strong patient care skills with a focus on safety, compassion, and respect for individual needs
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice support, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and connect empathetically with clients
Experience with medication administration, meal preparation, cleaning, and caregiving tasks required
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced healthcare settings
