Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits effectively
Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, including technology and retail items
Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales prospects
Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance store appearance
Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Ensure a clean and welcoming store setting at all times
Assist with opening and closing procedures,



including cash register management and reporting

Qualifications
Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in hardware stores.
Solid communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
Excellent organizational skills to manage product displays and inventory
Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales strategies such as upselling
Familiarity with retail tools including POS systems, cashiering, and phone etiquette
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
