Job Description:

We're looking for a Junior Accounting Analyst to join our team. The main focus of this role is preparing draft T1 Personal and T2 Corporation tax returns for review by a senior analyst, along with supporting bookkeeping and financial analysis work.

Duties
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Process payroll and maintain employee records
Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Preparation of T1 Personal tax returns & T2 Corporation tax returns (including but not limited to verifying documentation and entering data)

Requirements
Preferred: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field
Preferred: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Protax Tax Software
Proficient in Micosoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong understanding of financial services and principles




Experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
