Job Summary

Looking for hard working, reliable individuals to fill snow removal positions this upcoming season. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safety for employees, visitors, clients and home owners. This paid position offers a low key work environment and is geared towards those with applicable skills, dependability and reliability in equipment operation and a meticulous attention to detail. A class 5 drivers licence is necessary as you will be required to operate a company truck. A base monthly salary will be provided as well as an opportunity for bonus pay. One year of snow removal experience is required and must provide a drivers abstract.

Duties
Operate snow removal equipment such as, backpack blowers, walk behind snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders efficiently across various outdoor surfaces
Explicit snow and ice from walkways, stairs, and entrances promptly to prevent slips and falls
Apply salt or de-icing materials to surfaces to enhance safety during icy conditions
Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Maintain accurate records of completed work shifts,



equipment usage, and safety checks
Collaborate with team members to prioritize high-traffic areas for snow removal

Requirements
Prior experience with snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, or shovels is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating power tools and hand tools is advantageous
Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
Strong attention to safety procedures and hazard awareness during winter operations
Basic understanding of landscape maintenance or horticulture practices is a plus but not required
Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and shoveling for long durations
Construction experience or familiarity with outdoor maintenance equipment will be considered an asset

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
