Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the supervision of the Chef
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, organizing supplies, washing dishes.
Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure timely ingredient replenishment
Qualifications
Proven experience working in a kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Team player with excellent communication abilities
-Ability to take direction from the Chef
Culinary school diploma is required
