Maple Child Care Centre Inc. is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Child Care Assistant to join our team!

This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent afternoon hours with the flexibility to work additional shifts when needed.

Responsibilities
Assist educators with daily classroom routines and activities.
Supervise children and maintain a secure, nurturing workplace.
Help with afternoon activities, snack time, and end-of-day routines.
Support classroom cleanliness and organization.
Provide additional coverage during staff absences, vacation periods, and days off.

Qualifications
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Must be fluent in English, with solid verbal communication skills.
Must be dependable, patient, and enjoy working with young children.




Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check required.
Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification preferred.

Schedule
Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Additional Hours: Must be flexible and available to work longer shifts when covering staff vacations, sick days, and other absences.
