Join our dynamic construction team as a Wood Framer and play a vital role in bringing building projects to life! As a Wood Framer, you'll be at the forefront of constructing the structural framework of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that each project is built safely, accurately, and efficiently, contributing to the foundation of impressive structures. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your carpentry skills while working on diverse construction sites alongside experienced specialists.

Duties
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine framing requirements.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing components using hand tools and power tools with precision.
Construct wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural elements according to specifications and safety standards.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary for lifting and positioning large framing materials.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for foundational support structures.
Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing materials to complete the building envelope.




Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing components and ensuring structural integrity.

Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry or construction work, with a solid focus on wood framing.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) efficiently.
Knowledge of concrete forming, drywall installation, siding application, and woodworking techniques.
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely throughout the workday.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is a plus.
Basic welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is appreciated.
