Mission Mart is hiring a in our Production Department. Our Production team plays a key role in ensuring a steady flow of quality merchandise to the sales floor, providing customers with a great selection of products every day.

This is a full time, one-year contract position. The regular schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and weekend availability is required.

The ideal candidate has a solid work ethic, pays close attention to detail, works well independently, and is confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties
Receive, sort, and process incoming donations in a timely and effective manner
Assess donated items for quality, condition, and sell-ability in accordance with store standards and perform quality control to ensure only clean, and appropriate items move forward to the sales floor.
Categorize donations into sellable, seasonal, recyclable, or unsellable items and prepare and hang sellable items for pricing and merchandising.




Organize and distribute items to appropriate departments, drop-in locations, or storage areas based on category and seasonality
Maintain clean and organized production and storage areas to support productive workflow and safety standards.
Rotate seasonal merchandise and assist with timely transitions to and from the sales floor
Collaborate with pricing and merchandising teams to ensure inventory flow meets sales needs
Support overall store operations and the needs of the Mission by maintaining productivity goals and contributing to the organization’s success
Create a positive, uplifting environment for customers, volunteers and donors
Assist managers with daily operations – receiving, sorting merchandizing and cash
Price items according to best practices, as required

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
