Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front Staff to join our fast-paced Indian restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this agile environment.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service




Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Solid customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including peak hours; a positive attitude and team spirit are essential

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
