Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hospitality are consistently met. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially within retirement home or hospitality settings, is highly valued. Candidates with experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services will find this role aligns well with their skills. Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless workplace
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly




Follow safety protocols and health guidelines to maintain a protected working environment
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with residents, families and team members

Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving around large spaces
Prior experience in cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to safety protocols at all times

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.36-$20.00 per hour
