We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, eye health, and overall ocular function using advanced diagnostic tools.
Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, astigmatism, and age-related macular degeneration.
Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses tailored to individual needs, ensuring optimal vision correction.
Educate patients on eye health maintenance, preventive care, and proper use of eyewear or contact lenses.
Collaborate with optical staff to recommend suitable eyewear solutions and assist in sales efforts when appropriate.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic,



ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Stay current with advancements in optometry practices, including pediatrics, senior care, and medical terminology updates.

Qualifications
Valid state licensure or certification as an Optometrist with the ability to practice independently.
Proven experience in optical care with a strong understanding of optical products and patient care techniques.
Familiarity with pediatric and senior patient needs to provide age-specific eye care services.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health and conditions.
Experience working with electronic health record systems like Epic is highly desirable.
Solid communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Ability to handle sales responsibilities by recommending appropriate eyewear options while maintaining a focus on patient well-being.
