MED Supper Club is looking for a skilled, reliable, and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who takes pride in preparing quality food, maintaining high standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to MED's recipes and quality standards
Complete daily food preparation and mise en place
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented consistently
Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout service
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as required
Communicate effectively with the Chef and other kitchen team members
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
Support other kitchen team members as needed

Qualifications




Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Culinary education or training is an asset
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Food Handler Certification is an asset
