Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Looking for someone for a minimum 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about dental health and eager to grow within a qualified setting. Prior experience with Dentrix is an asset.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, root canals and surgical treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards

Skills




Proficiency with dental software Dentrix
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Experience in dental assisting with certification
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and care excellence
