Our current downtown Toronto health-focused quick-serve restaurant is seeking a culinary professional or Chef to oversee overall culinary operations

The role essentially has two parts. Firstly, acting as kitchen manager, and engaging in duties such as all necessary ordering, inventory, supplier relations, receiving, and staff management, including prep-list construction and assignment, hiring, training, scheduling, problem-solving during service, and quality control.

Secondly, the role will be responsible for engaging in weekly culinary creativity in capacity as Head Chef. Specifically, in your Chef capacity, the role will be responsible for developing weekly menu specials, focusing on healthy and seasonal foods.

We serve a healthy menu of wholesome, home-cooked cuisine, only using whole-food ingredients, without seed oils, chemical additives, or refined sugars. Ability to strictly adhere to this concept a requirement. Personal passion for our concept, and for our mission, a very strong asset.
