Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, mechanical systems, and various hand and power tools. The Pipelayer will collaborate closely with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
Lay, assemble, and repair underground pipelines using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bucket trucks.
Operate heavy machinery including rigging equipment, bucket operation machinery, and low voltage systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure proper installation procedures.
Perform excavation work with excavators and backhoes to prepare trenches for pipeline installation.
Assist with welding and electrical connections as required for pipeline systems.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations, including proper rigging techniques and equipment handling.




Maintain a clean work environment by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and performing routine maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications
Proven experience in pipeline installation or related construction work.
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging systems.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical systems.
Ability to operate heavy machinery including low voltage systems and bucket operation equipment safely.
Experience with welding techniques is preferred.
Solid understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license preferred; relevant certifications in heavy equipment operation or electrical work are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects within a skilled workplace that values safety, skill development, and teamwork.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
