Key Responsibilities

· Review financial statements, reports, and Financial Administration Law requirements; respond to accounts payable and receivable questions from vendors, customers, and internal teams.

· Prepare journal entries; code and enter invoices; post and reconcile batches; update ledgers; and verify data accuracy.

· Process outgoing payments in accordance with financial policies, legislation, procedures, schedules, and deadlines.

· Identify discrepancies, report issues to the supervisor, and support the review of financial and administrative records.

Required Skills

· Maintain confidentiality and apply knowledge of privacy, financial compliance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable requirements.

· Use Sage 300, AIS, and Microsoft Office tools with accuracy, organization, and robust attention to detail.

· Understand and promote Gitxaała Nation culture,

· Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, staff, Directors, and Managers.

· Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under demanding timelines.

· Identify discrepancies, solve routine problems, and escalate issues when needed.

· Cultural awareness and a respectful, service-focused approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,500.00-$53,000.00 per year
