The customer, is a global leader in steam system solutions serving industrial and commercial customers. They are looking for a Shipper/Receiver who will perform accurate picking, packing and shipping of customer orders, prepare shipping documents and bills of lading, coordinate with couriers, manage packaging materials, conduct incoming inspection and inventory of shipments, and maintain records for reporting and tracking. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced setting focused on accuracy, timeliness and customer service.
Must have skills and experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving operations
Proficiency with UPS, Purolator and FedEx shipping software
Experience preparing bills of lading,
manifests and other shipping documentation
Solid computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
Accurate picking, packing and inventory counting skills
Ability to coordinate with couriers and manage packaging materials
Incoming inspection and basic quality-check experience
Good organizational skills, customer focus and teamwork
Counterbalance/forklift/reach truck certification preferred
