This role is a part time role, with potential to move to full time in the future.

Responsibilities
Safely operate roll-off trucks and front-end loaders to load, unload, and transport waste containers and materials.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and secure containers onto trucks with care, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety standards.
Drive to designated locations for pickup or delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.




Assist with the manual handling of heavy materials through heavy lifting to support effective operations 50+ lbs.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedule updates or operational issues.

Requirements
Valid class 1 with air license.
Clean drivers abstract.
Must be able to drive manual.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
Minimum 3 years experience as a driver in the waste industry.
Ability to operate both Front End & hook lift RO trucks.
Robust attention to safety procedures and compliance with transportation regulations.
Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for early mornings or late afternoons as needed.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork & customer service.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 39.0 per week
