Responsibilities
Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs
Support patients across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities, with a focus on pediatrics and acute care environments
Prepare therapy materials and assist with the setup of equipment to ensure smooth session flow
Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately to inform ongoing treatment strategies
Educate family members and caregivers on exercises and techniques to reinforce therapy goals at home
Maintain a clean,



organized therapy environment adhering to safety and infection control protocols
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications
Prior experience working in acute care settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and healthcare settings
Strong understanding of communication disorders and therapeutic techniques
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage patients of all ages
Certification or training as a CDA or SLP-A is preferred; relevant coursework or internship experience will be considered
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
