House to Highrise is seeking an experienced Construction Technician to join our team. This role involves both residential and commercial work and requires a skilled, reliable individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities
Perform service and maintenance work, including:
Minor woodwork and finishing
Painting
Drywall repairs
Door and hardware installation
Lighting changes
Minor plumbing repairs
Deliver site supplies and tools as needed
Assist the construction team on larger projects
Work in both interior and exterior conditions
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of construction experience
Proven general handyman/handywoman skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly
Excellent customer service and time-management skills
Self-starter with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively
Reliable personal vehicle and valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Schedule
Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call and overtime as required.
