Care at Home Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and client-focused Home Care Support Workers to provide quality in-home support to clients who wish to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, person-centred support in clients’ homes.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, dressing, grooming, and toileting as required.
Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and protected movement around the home.
Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
Support clients with appointments, errands, shopping, and community activities where required.
Observe and report changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or behavioural well-being.
Follow individual care plans and directions provided by supervisors and health-care specialists.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
Respect client privacy, dignity, cultural preferences, and confidentiality at all times.




Follow all workplace health and safety, infection prevention, and company policies.

Experience
Previous experience in home care, community support, caregiving, or a related field is an asset.
Personal Support Worker (PSW), Health Care Assistant (HCA), Care Aide, or similar certification is preferred where applicable.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset or may be required.
Successful completion of a criminal record/vulnerable sector check, as applicable.
Ability to provide professional references.
